First time customers from Columbus and Kentucky had an awesome day today – we left the dock at 6:30 am and started casting off the waterworks plant in about 18′. They caught a menagerie of fish ranging from gobies, white bass, freshwater drum, and one lonely but very large perch. After about an hour we headed out to 45′ and started trolling. We set up a spread of dipsey divers, tru-trip 40’s, and downrigger’s running spoons, worm harnesses, and a few crank baits and trolled with the wind to our stern at about 2.2-2.4mph. These guys reeled in over 40 fish and we kept 21, three limits and bonus fish from the Captain. The Walleye Fishing is on fire out of Lorain. I have dates open in July and August.
