About the Captain
Mark Schoolcraft - Coast Guard
In Between The Lines Sport Fishing Charter is owned and operated by Mark Schoolcraft, a seasoned captain with over 40 years of fishing experience on Lake Erie.
Mark is fully licensed by the Coast Guard with a Masters 200-ton license and OUPV 6-pak license, ensuring that you’re in safe hands throughout your fishing trip.
He began charter fishing in 2022 and currently docks in Lorain and Grand River, Ohio.

Tentative Dive Pricing 2025
Subject to change based on Marine grade fuel prices
- $850 – Trips 30 miles or less dock to dock
- $900 – Trips 31-40 miles dock to dock
- $1000 – Trips 41-50 miles dock to dock
- Trips over 50 miles – call for pricing
(Up to 6 guest maximum.)
First Class Accomodations
It’s not necessary to rough it while diving, the amenities on this 35’ boat includes a full galley, full bathroom, dual air conditioners, generator, heater, refrigerator and V Berth.
2025 Tentative Schedule and Availability:
Reservations for the 2025 season begins on March 1st. Deposit required to secure a date.
- Available 7 days per week
- Boat launches May 1st and is pulled out for the season October 31st
- Location, May-July in Lorain, and August-October in Grand River
- Mooring buoys are installed beginning in mid May
- Charters run 6 hours dock to dock – normal departure time is 8:00 am
Terms and Conditions
- Pricing subject to change based on price of Marine grade fuel.
- All Diver’s must be certified.
- Not responsible for visibility.
- Reservations are required and a $200 non-refundable deposit – will reschedule trips if cancelled due to weather (Captain’s weather call).
- Can take up to six divers.
- In Between the Lines Sportfishing and Diving is a charter service only and is not running or supervising the dives – are simply a transportation service to the selected wreck.
- Divers must sign waiver’s. IBLT is not responsible for divers once they are in the water. All dive planning is the responsibility of each diver.
